• Who are the Teachers ?
The Center is only as good as its professors. A.S.M’s teachers are professional, experienced, dynamic and highly qualified. They are native Arabic speakers and they are very fluent in English and French. They know the classroom management, pedagogy and the techniques for a class. Infact, they motivate and stimulate. A.S.M guarantees you will have an excellent level in Arabic using exercises, linguistic games, simulations and guided debates as well as discussions. They, also, encourage you to develop the 4 linguistic skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) required to have a good command of Arabic. The programs they use are carefully selected by experts in the field of Arabic Language.

• How about Accommodation ?
We offer first-rate accommodations for our out-of-town visitors through exclusive arrangements we have with several hotels located near the school or downtown in the Medina or even a host family according to your own choice.

• What textbooks are used?
Our Modern Standard Arabic classes and the Colloquial Moroccan Arabic classes use updated Arabic textbooks to cover your 4 linguistic skills. We can use your own material if you want.

• How about the extra-curricular activites ?
Students pay for their own transportation and entry fees.

• How can get to the school from the airport ?
The closest airport to the school is the Rabat/Sale airport, just 40 minutes from our school. Casablanca Mohammed V airport is 1 ½ hour drive from Rabat or 2 hours by train. We guarantee the pick-up from the Casablanca airport till your hotel. If you land in Marrakech, there is a 4 hour direct train to Rabat. In case you intend to take a grand taxi, try to negotiate the taxi fare.

• How much does an airline ticket cost?
It is arranged between 800 USD to 1400 USD depending if you are from the East or West coast of the US and if there are connections. Please log on to airline companies’ websites for bookings : www.airfrance.com / www.britishairways.com / www.royalairmaroc.com ……
Only to mention, there are charter airline that offer discounts if you intend to travel from the UK or France like Easy jet, Ryan air ,Air France, Royal air Maroc : between 110 USD to 400 USD.

• How about safety in Morocco?
In general, Morocco is a very safe place for a person to travel, whether man or woman. However, it is important to be cautious and practice good common sense in order to avoid dangerous situations when traveling. You should always do research and ask around for advice before visiting a new city. The A.S.M employees and instructors are very happy to provide any information that they can for students planning to embark on a solo excursion. We generally advise students to try their best to blend in, stay in well lit popular areas, and avoid carrying large sums of money. Ensuring students have a safe, carefree experience is a high priority to everyone here at A.S.M.

• How soon do I need to register for my course?
You have to register for your course as soon as possible in order to arrange the travel schedule and study. If you come before the scheduled time for your studies, it’s going to be easy to brief you and start up the classes with ease and also to arrange the accommodations and all that you need.

• How can I pay for my classes?
We accept cash or cheques. Access to cash is easy through the ATMs located near the school or your accommodation.
